GOSI9esm is the NEMO development project aimed at development of the ocean component to be used in UKESM.

This will be used in UKESM coupled atmos-ocean and stand-alone ocean or variants thereof.

It is forked from the GOSI10 branch prior to that branch containing any scientific developments which would cause it to diverge, functionally, from GOSI9.

The intention is to ensure that the GOSI9esm code is kept up to date with any bug fixes applied to GOSI10, but to maintain the scientific functionality of GOSI9.
