Introducing Multi-Envelope quasi-Eulerian vertical coordinates in DOMAINcfg

Proposal

We suggest to introduce the Multi-Envelope (ME) approach to quasi-Eulerian (QE) vertical coordinates proposed by Bruciaferri et al. 2018 and the algorithm lo localise QE vertical coordinates in targeted areas of the model domain as proposed in Bruciaferri et al. 2023 (in preparation) - see also Bruciaferri et al. 2022 for an application of the localisation method in the Greenland-Scotland ridge region to improve model representation of Nordic overflows.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
