Proposal
In sub-zones where the MEs coordinate transformation uses cubic splines, it could happen that the transormation is not monotonic (typically where adjacent envelopes are too close - splines will overshoots). The standard way to address this problem would be to choose different envelopes. However, when this occurs on land points, we can solve the problem by adjusting e3T/W and recomputing gdepT/W accordingly.
